Rainbow Six 3: Iron Wrath

I just recieved notification from 3dGamers.com about an expansion pack for R6:Ravenshield. Apparently it is for subscribers only to 3dgamers. The pack has 6 new weapons, optimized missions and a new 7 mission campaign. The download is 1 Gig. I am probably going to d/l it and try it out. I will keep you posted. I paid 12 bucks for a years subscribtion to 3dgamers and you get access to their high speed servers for downloads. That was how I got BF2 so quick. I will keep ya'll posted.

Hey McFeely, I downloaded it about four days ago and it's a blast. I have been having a good time with it. Took a long time to down load but I had 3 things downloading at one time so it didn't bother me much. I think it was close to an hour but it was worth it and it is free. Also I am not a subscriber. I just joined as a freebie guy but I was still allowed to download it. Fits right in with the rest of the Raven Shield games. I like it and think the rest of you will also! Take care now and keep your powder dry!

Yep Goat I played today with it. The maps are sweet. The new weapons are okay. I played a couple of the new adversarial missions too. Gas Alert is okay.

I'm downloading it now. I will try and have it installed on the server PC today. (PiLL I will let you know if I can figure out where it goes.) Hopefully this will work as smoothly on the multiplayer server as AS did.

OK...please spread the word. I have setup and launched the server using the Iron Wrath expansion and maps. (see separate post)

Anyone that does not have the Iron Wrath expansion will get a version mismatch error. I do not want to exlcude those that cannot download the 1GB file so please let me know how this works out. I am very excited to try out the new maps and some of the adversarial game modes.

Please post comments and suggestion on balancing what server is up and running for RS.

Did you download it to your Raven Shield or a different folder?

PiLL,

Download it to wherever you save your downloads. When you double click the download file it will launch the installer. It is the installer that you want to make sure finds your correct Raven Shield game directory (just like Athena Sword did). It then installs all it's files and can be launched thru it's own icon like Athena Sword. I posted a list of all the new maps under the IW Server post.

I downloaded it to my desktop, I double click on it, click run and nothing happens but locks up my PC. :evil: :(

Think I need to delete it and download it again?

Thats what I had to do Squad. It did not load properly the first time. So I downloaded again. Reinstalled over the old one and it worked fine.

Now my problem is I can't connect to any servers.
