I tried this today from my shop to home and it works. The tutorial is pretty accurate.

Yeah I'v ebeen useing this little programe for things like Diablo 2, Masters of Orian 2, and other old school games. Use to be a real BITCH to set up but the latest versions are dirt simple.

I thought you were already using Hamachi McFeely?
On a similiar note, I've started playing with this cool little app. It's called CrossLoop and it is the most simple to use and install remote desktop program I've ever seen. I've been in contact with the creators of this program and they seem like really cool people too. Here's a link to check it out. http://www.crossloop.com/

I have been using it but not for remote access for diagnostics or anything only gaming. It never occured to me to use it for anything else. I knew you could do file sharing but I never tried that either. When I did it today I was able to install, update and run AVG, Ad-Aware and S&D. I also was able to run HijackThis. Of course I couldn't re-boot to safe mode to do a proper scan. I have regular customers who I want to be able to do remote cleanups of their systems instead having to go onsite.
I will look at crossloop. I am always looking for something to test or tinker with.

That's what I was originally using Hamachi for when I first started using it. My router has VPN built in so I don't use Hamachi for VPN anymore. I was also using it to work on clients computers but I think that will end now to since I started using CrossLoop. It's painless on the user's end which is a good thing. Less hoops for them to jump through makes it easier and quicker for me to fix their system.

Thanks for the info and the nudge to Crossloops. If I have any questions I will post them.
