I'll probably pick up rFactor because it is made by the same guys who put out the F1 Challenge sim (very sweet). I hear great things about it too.

I see a lot of OSG guys are starting to race NASCAR, but my favorite racing is Formula 1. I know a few guys who are F1 fans, but just wanted to see what the interest level is.

I think more than a couple have open wheel preferences. I am up for stock car, open wheel, rally, dirt track...just no bunny hopping! ;)

Cool, I'm up for anything with non-oval type racing (I might give NASCAR a whirl once or twice though). With all the mods out there, we should have quite a selection.

I used to run the RH2005 mod on my F1 Challenge 1999-2001 that was awesome. I heard those guys were moving to rFactor for their next mod, so I'll do some hunting.

hey psychodad here is a F1 mod I have ran and it is a blast and very nice graphics . It even has a telematry program for it . If there is enough response to a league of this style , We could entertain starting a 2nd racing series .

I already downloaded the Formula_One_2005_by_CTDP mod because it has all the actual cars and tracks of the F1. Plus I found a skin for the McLaren Mp4-21 with the chrome paint job I can't wait to try (I'm a big McLaren Fan - although now that Kimi is with Ferarri, I'll have to root for both).

My game CD should be here any day, I can't wait to play it!

Kind of makes it hard when you root for a manufacturer and they acquire a racer you don't really care for. I have been a Schumacher fan since he raced for Benetton, and it was easy to become a Ferrari fan when he went there. Now I dont know what to do. I guess I can start rooting for Kimi, though he has the personality of a rock. Heck maybe its time to become a Redbull fan and root for the only American, Scott Speed.

What you need Brit, is some sportscar racing. IE. GTR on PC or Forza Motorsport on Xbox, etc. Good stuff.

I raced in Formula Sim Racing League last year and starting soon this year.

We used rFactor F1C mod last year, and are using CTDP2005 mod this year.

Tony, A few of us have the CTDP mod and that is what Tombstone has run on his server the times he's had it running. Hopefully we can get some races going on that one of these days. Maybe we could have an "open wheel" channel on Teamspeak...

Hi guys,

Sorry I've been a no-show last few days. My F1 season is starting tommorrow and I have been making last minute preparations with my team.

I was wondering if you guys wanted to join the server in spectate mode and check out the races. There's a Ameteure, Pro, Ace, and World Championship divsion. AMA runs on Saturdays and I think Pro, Ace, and WC do Sundays.

My division, AMA, starts practice at 3:30 p.m. EST.

since you guys are thinking about starting some open wheel stuff, come check it out! :)

If you are unable to logon in spectate mode you can also monitor the race from racecast.
