Hey Dave ,
Just dropping in to let you know that beta testing at ARCA simracing is really ramped up right now. Because of this I may not be able to do alot of league racing right now. However, the guys over at ARCA have allowed us give our opinions and experiences with the software. I am under NDA so there are certain names and proprietary bits I cannot mention. With that said here is my response to the software so far. AWESOME! I am proud and thankful to be a part of this. This is what we have all been waiting on for about 4 years now (actually ever since I started simracing 10 years ago). We have been racing against alot of real world drivers and getting feedback. It is nice to hear that what we have been feeling, is what we thought we were feeling. It is also nice to know how we stack up against real world drivers. These guys are just average Joe’s for the most part, and this is why stockcars have the fan base they do. Sorry this got a little longer than I intended, but I am just damn excited about this whole thing, and wanted to let you guys know that it hasn’t worn off.

Sincerely
Craig Lewis

Dave this software is just unbelievable. I can't wait until you guys get the opportunity to run this. The cars feel great. The setups work. The tracks are unbelievable. This software will be great for league racing. I will stake my reputation on the fact that I know you guys will love this. I could just sit here making lap after lap offline and be content with this software if I had too. I glad I don't have too : ), but I would. Superb racing sim. I am just as ready for it to be released as everyone else, but these guys are doing this thing the right way, so we gotta wait just a bit longer.

Dave we tested a track last night which will remain unnamed. They spent 4 months on this one and it shows. It has every little bump and crack modelled into it. It was freaking awesome. You have to work your setup to compensate for it and you have to adjust your driving line also. It is unlike anything we have seen to date. This just keeps getting better. The visuals are also spectacular, the thing that really has me suprised, is that it still runs alot better frame rates than the other titles I had been running.

Hello to all,

Hopefully I will get my pc back up and running very soon! It's very nice to hear that these guys are really taking their time to get this mod right before it comes out the box! I guess there won't even be a beta to try huh? ;)

I miss being on the track, but I'll be back soon...and with the ARCA mod fast approaching, that's just icing on the cake!

Take Care,

Chester

Thanks for the update Chester. I will be glad to just get back to racing but this release, when it happens, looks promising.

Chester, are you referring to wireless internet such as mobile computing, or with wireless home networks? I do have high speed cable, but I also have everything at home on wireless.
