rFactor Mod thread

Thought I would start a thread about all the different mods we try out.

So far I have tried out the following,

Formula BMW v1.0 and really liked it. I would recommend it for anyone starting out in the open wheeled cars. http://www.rfactorcentral.com/detail.cfm?ID=Formula%20BMW

I am now trying out ProtoRacer Proton v1.1 and its really fun too. High performance GT style cars. http://www.rfactorcentral.com/detail.cfm?ID=ProtoRacer%20Proton

And then theres P-dads find on V8 Supercars v1.0 which is an Australian racing series.http://www.rfactorcentral.com/detail.cfm?ID=V8%20Supercars

Of course the F1 series that P-dad endorsed is really high performance where the cars are really fast and stick like glue. http://www.rfactorcentral.com/detail.cfm?ID=F1%202005

And your favorite track for trying mods out on, mine is Laguna Seca.

Ninja got me to try the ORR - Off Road Racing Truck Series. It is fun to take on the dirt track stadium circuits. I really want to try the V8 Supercars, read good things about he mod. I have the F1 2006 CTDP and have only tried it once.

Maybe start a thread with best times for each track and mod. That way give each other some to shoot for even if we are not online at the same time.

Okay I have the ORR loaded up and thats fun. Been trying to get that sliding thing down and those jumps are pretty cool and remind me of Moto X madness.

Thought I would follow Nips suggestion and try out the VW Beetle Race 2.01 mod. What a fun change from the high performance world of open wheel. Great interiors and motor sounds. Get caught in a bad line and the rpm's drop something fierce. Brings back the art of power sliding if there is such a thing in a VW.

Tomb I found a track add-on for the OCC series called Desert Mesa. Its more of an open Desert course instead of the stadium layouts. Ran some laps and see its like any other in that its probably a lot easier if you can figure out a set-up. I worked some on it but couldn't come up with a good one.
