Ok boy's, need to pick your brains again.

Update: Got the HD installed and OS installed, udated and everything is good so far. Thanks again to Parasite, got all the wifes emails back.

Installed the old HD and copied all the files I want to keep to the HD. Now I want to reformat the old HD and start loading all my games to it. When I try to format it, XP tells me it can't because the drive is in use...WTF?

I'm running 2 SATA II HD in SATA II, not RAID (confirmed this in bios). My MOBO is ASUS a8n32 SLI-Deluxe (bios ver 1303). C: drive sata cable conected port #1 and E: drive connected to port #4. Can't connect to ports #2 or #3 due to the Artic Coolers installed on my 7800 GT's.

Turned off anti-virus (AVG 7.5), turned off spy ware (AVG), turned off system restore monitoring of the E: drive. What am I missing here?

Did you boot from the old hard drive? Check and make sure you are booting from the new drive.

I did confirm that the new HD was the Bootable HD in Bios.

I got it formated, did in safe mode!

Should have everything installed soon, and back gamin.
