Invaild O/S

Ok I just bought this sweet gaming comp and now when I try to log into any BF2 server it boots me saying inadquate O/S. Is there a patch for this? If so can someone please link it for. I have 32bit. Hang on there SaskNewfie I will be coming to gun you down soon.......:)

Compatibility Issues ! Same thing happened when they rolled out XP. I had to roll back a few 98 progs until they were patched. I have Vista Ultimate on a computer but I don't game on it. It is a Tony Bagadonuts version. I have been able to load and use my video and audio authoring programs with no problems. The interface is real pretty and easy on the eyes, but it really is nothing special yet. I had to upgrade my video card to use it.

Ok I can now play online! All I had to do was run it as an administrator which is really stuiped but it works.

So for those with Vista and cant run on a server just right click on the BF2 icon and run as an admin.

For those of you who are getting a new computer and think the only O/S they can give you is Vista, try this. When you are ordering your PC online, threaten to hang up on them and tell them you will go to their competitor if they don't give you another choice in O/S. If you are at Best Buy, tell them you are going to Circuit City if they don't give you what you want and vice versa. Fight the system. Don't let the man (Bill Gates) and MicroSnot push you around. They will only offer one O/S (Vista) if we let them. This works because I reluctantly did this for a guy who wanted a Dell. I say reluctantly because I could have built him one for a lot less than what he paid for his Dell. They tried to force him to take Vista till I got on the phone and did this. He now has XP and will be happy with this.
