TO ALL OSG MEMBERS INTERESTED IN POKER NIGHT, PLEASE DO THE FOLLOWING:
-go to www.hollywoodpoker.com (http://www.hollywoodpoker.com/)
-A popup block will appear to download the software while browsing - click yes
-Register - there's a goofy error where you have to type in a region
(when outside North America) - obviously you wouldn't need one, but
type in something here or it will not let you complete registration.
-Install the program you downloaded
-Insert your username and password that you created when you registered
-You are all set up to play


We will try out some play money tables - when I created a private
table, it allowed up to 10 players at a time....sounds like a good
poker table night!

I took the time to read thru the Terms and Conditions (having a GF that is a lawyer has conditioned me that way) and here are the parts that anyone concerned about issues of Internet Gambling or Informatin Collection can get their answers.



3. LIMITATIONS ON USE
It is each player's responsibility to follow his/her local gaming age restrictions. In any case, no person under the age of eighteen is permitted to participate in games at HollywoodPoker.com. YOU AGREE NOT TO USE THE SOFTWARE TO PARTICIPATE AT HOLLYWOODPOKER.COM EXCEPT WHERE IT IS EXPRESSLY LEGAL TO DO SO. Residents of some locations are prohibited from playing HollywoodPoker.com's games for real money or prizes. It is the responsibility of each player to know and abide by their state law in regards to gaming.

Please be advised that Hollywood Poker has blocked all U.S. players from playing in Real Money games as of 11:59 PM EST on Sunday, November 5th, 2006. This action was a result of The Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act being signed into law on October 13th, 2006.

Also, you dont have to worry about any of those restrictions and such since we are using play money. Many of the poker sites have that warning...some do not.

Well if interest is this high we may be able to set up a Poker Tourney next time, maybe even a monthly deal. I could design a Poker Tournament champs SIG banner for the winner.:cool:

Since we cannot use the built in tourney mode (it requires real money to be enabled) we can easily create our own by creating smaller tables where the table winners meet on a progressive advancement until only one table remains and ultimately one winner. Or some variation.

Everyone should know how to refil their PLAY MONEY to $1000. Just go to the website and login. Go to My Account and on the Account Overview tab click on the REFILL PLAY MONEY button. This will then be available in-game.
