Driving Assists

Hello All,

I would like everyone to consider making certain driving assists available to whomever wants to use them. In particular; AUTO SHIFT(which we already have), TC and ABS. These last two, I believe, would increase the "fun" factor of our racing tremendously. I also believe this would help less tatlented drivers, particularly in F1. I believe we should allow these aids to simply make the racing experience even more enjoyable for everyone.

I run Friday nite races with Allsimracing.com (SuperClios) using low TC and ABS...it was totally awsome! I was in a multilap duel with a couple of drivers and even though the car we were driving was a little slow, having these aids available made for some exciting racing. I think that is utimately the goal no matter where you race.

I can definately see this in the F1 mod. I know sometimes assist will make the car more driveable but not necessarily faster. So those that want stability can turn them on, those that want the fastest possible laps can leave 'em off. We will be selaunching the F1 server after tonights Special Event Race at Indy. (See the main page for details). I am also hoping to have the Hot Lap plugin finally working for the F1 server.
