We are starting a IndyCar Fixed Setup Series to start on Friday June 8th.
It will be a 10 week series, 8 oval and 2 road courses.

Race rules will be,

Pratice - 8PM est
Race - 9PM est
Fixed Setups
Assists - on
Fuel - normal
Tires - x2
Flags - All
Damage - 50%

Race Lenght - 120 Laps
Indy - 70 Laps
Watkins Glen - 70 Laps
Road America - 50 Laps

Hey Guys I have been running laps the past few days and man that setup really works good. I love it. I hit the wall occasionally but it's my fault and not the setup. But it is so much fun and I really enjoyed it. I'll be looking forward to racing with Ya'll when I get back. I should be back about the 29th of June, hopefully? If not I'll let Ya'll know! Good Racing!

1 question; someone please explain "fixed setups". Does that always mean we run a setup provided on the server, or our own personal setup...which cannot be modified once we join a race.

I've heard a couple of times folks referring to setups in practice and I was just thinking about controller configs, since that seems to be the only thing you can modify in a fixed setup race except for fuel.

Sorry if it's a dumb question, it just crossed my mind the other day and I would've felt dumber not asking at all.:rolleyes:

NP, Tony, fixed setup is done on the server. Its the same for all the drivers.

Awesome race guys, first time trying IndyCars and it was a blast! Wish everyone could have stayed connected to enjoy it.

Man that was fun! I was surprised to see how few yellow flags we got. I think it's because these cars stick a bit more. (Or we're just getting better) Either way, there was some great driving out there.

On the con side, I need to rig up an in car beer drinking system, because I only got to take a few sips the whole race. (Wait, mayber that's a good thing)

Will there be a place we can look at the race stats? Also, if we get any video from that race, I'd love to see it.

Guys, that was a great race lots of fun. Tombstone is going to work on getting the stats up much like the NROS series is, as long as I sent him the right stuff, I hope. And Ragnar I had nowhere to go, lol. The next track is Cali and is up on the server. Congrats PiLL

The OSGRS: INDYCAR site is up and has all the info for our first season. Thank Viper for getting it all organized using the Champ Results program. I will try and help Viper get the site updated the Saturday after each race. I hope to soon be able to add some extras to the site, things like pics and videos.

You can get to the site from the Racing Series link in the left hand menu on the OSG Main Page. From the Racing Series site look for the link at the bottom with the OSG Racing Series: INDYCAR logo.
