"Hello DK. This is Grey Fox's sister. I have watched him play this game for years and he showed me how to post a message. My big brother was admitted to the emergency room on Sunday for bad stomach pain. After hours of waiting and diagnosis of hernia, then apendicitis, we were told that he had a cancerous tumor in his colon the size of a baseball. He was scheduled to go into surgery on Tuesday, but was delayed. He should be finally going in today so I ask you all to have good thoughts during this difficult time. I know he would appreciate it. We are hopeful that he can be back on his his feet in about 6 weeks. Thank you from me to you for all the fun he has had playing your army man game. Monica."

Thank you DK for all your support. My brother came through the surgery and is now recoverying. He still has a long way to go. They had to cut through all his stomach muscles so he will be in quite a lot of pain for some time. The results of the tumor biopsy will be on Wednesday when we will find out if the cancer has spread to other areas. I will keep you posted. Monica.

Well, things aren't looking so good. :(

"Sorry all. The results didn't come back as hoped. 2 of 16 lymph nodes showed signs of the cancer they removed from the colon tumor, and 1 node showed a cancer type they don't know where it came from. The next step now is chemo. Please remember him in your prayers. Monica."

Spoke with GreyFox this morning. This all started with severe pain in his right side and at first they thought it was a hernia, appendicitis, and after a cat scan they discovered the tumor. After surgery to remove the tumor the biopsy came back as cancerous but one of the lymph nodes contained a different strain of cancer that they aren't sure where it came from. He is scheduled to have a head scan next week to see if they can find the other cancer. Chemo won't start until they find where the other cancer is located and if it's treatable at this point. He is very weak right now and when I spoke with him he was in the outpatient hospital receiving an infusion of Iron because his hemoglobin is so low. Keep him in your thoughts and prayers as he waits for the head scan and results.

[17:57] Hey Steve, I get my results from the pet scan thursday 10:40 am, which basically will say that the second cancer is too far established to be treated OR if it is localized in some organ that can be treated, in addition to the necessary chemo for the first cancer. Either way, it a flip of the coin as to my fate. I'm not familiar with your spiritual beliefs, but if you can use whatever prayer you have saved up, I would surely need it tomorrow morning when I go in to hear the results. Please?
