There seems to be an new v1.3 patch. I think we are running 1.1 right now, so that would mean 2 patches, 1.2 & 1.3 if you guys think we need them.

Did you guys race tonite? I see the server is at Monza now. Anyway, I'm runinning v1.1 in another league right now so I may have to bail on the series.

I don't know that we have to update to v1.3 just yet, though it appeared we lost a couple of potential racers tonight due to running v1.1. I have read some good comments on the 1.3 patch making the game play more realistic. Some comments say it takes some getting used to but worth the time investment.

Anyways, hate to lose you Twister, so I vote we stay with 1.1 for now.:D

Sorry I forgot to respond to this. We did not race, but thought maybe it was due to Indy. So Viper rolled it over to Monza to see if we could draw some interest and get some OSG racers back in the server.

we're running rFactor v1255 and the mod is still at v1.1 at the moment.:cool:

guess im out of that too im not patched cause it screws up my vhr.

I think the problem we're having here is we're not making sure the same version of rFactor is being used for all of the racing series. I don't even know if the stock guys are really settled on a particular mod anyway? It looks like there's been alot of VHR going on, but is a series being run or are they just having pick-up races?

Same deal with open wheel sort of. We know what mod we want to use, but because we're not aligned with the stock car side...it may be making it difficult not only to draw new drivers, but get our own guys in here too (there may still be several of our drivers still using 1250).

ya your right , i got a buddy slim who wants to race too but cant patch cause he races vhr also. i know you can switch but im not sure how to do it so im not gonna chance it.i tried it once and had to uninstall and re-install everything.

I think you might be on to something here Twister. As you pointed out you are already in a league running Champcar v1.1 along with the 1255 patch.

I am sure most of you steady racers are in several leagues and have to maintain a certain combination of rfactor patch and game versions. So that leaves us with pick up races that are mostly empty until we sort it all out.:(
