Retro RS3 Night

To whom all that showed up,

THANKS, it was so nice to see so many out to game, it was awsome, Dad, Almighty, Naplam, Punisher, Goat, CrazyC, Tombstone, and my self hope I did not omit anybody. We also had a couple of pretty good walkins show up. It was very retro to hear the smack talk as well as the help in clearing the Tangos. There was the odd team kill eh Punisher. LOL Anyway thanks it was a hoot and look forward to next retro Night.


There was great team work, I would have to say. We got through a fair number of maps. Also Tomb thanks for setting it up and adding the maps.

Glad to hear R63 is doing well. I had to work the straw poll all day and evening. Didn't make it home til late.

Should be there next saturday.

The republican candidates held a "Straw Poll" to see who was the favorite one. People voted, they were fed, had a chance to speak to their supporters and see who could get the most votes. It was a long hot day!!!

I would certainly have gone for the stripper pole.

Man...Sunday night was a blast. The streaming custom maps seem to work for everyone. We had the server at max capacity almost all night. I will try and add some more maps for later this week to keep things interesting. We have plenty of guys with Admin access to keep the server rolling. Don't hesitate to use the Admin commands or change maps up.

Too bad we didn't see Mac, Psycho or Balti on tonight but it was great to see Roo and Slaughter join in. Well except for when Roo shot Coolio square in the back of the head while running behind him. Might want to change that Push-to-Talk key Roo.:D

That was a good time. If it had been a nade that took out Coolio, I would have had flashbacks of Kristy or Blanch.

Tomb- Will the server be changed over or will it stay on R63?

Yeah...thanks Tomb. I couldn't hit a friggin guy standing still, but I run across a court yard with Coolio in front on me, my guns on single shot, and I accidently hit the fire button and pop him in the back of the coconut....I should have quit then. Actually, I saw on the back of his helmet he had on, a sticker that said "Cops suck"....I did it for you guys!!!! :)

The other good one was where I was aimed at a bad guy in front of a door, and fire at him, just at that moment Squad opens the door on the other side....at least I killed the bad guy as well. Luck was not on my side.....I'll work on it though.

Thats right, I forgot about that incident. I actually thought it was the tango that got me til the scoreboard came up...lol. The TKs were few and far between the last few nights.

Had a great time last night. Roo was on fire not by killing any tangos but doing a great job capping friendlies. Don't worry Roo, firemen can't handle anything but a hose.

I think we'll keep it on Raven Shield for now with some custom maps mixed in. We can switch to Athena Sword whenever we want.

I loaded R6 onto my new laptop. It plays pretty good. So I will be around more next week when I am traveling.

Was able to figure out my router problem and connect to our server. Got 6 pubbers in to play while I was in there...4 in the afternoon. Not bad!
