We would like to have an OSG MEMBER meeting. Please vote in the poll attached to this for what night would be best for you. The poll will close Friday afternoon, and the most popular pick for day/time will be the member meeting.
The Member meeting is for all members to come and meet/great the others, and bring up any problems and/or suggestions for the future of OSG. If you are not yet a member of OSG, and would like to be, here's a prime opportunity to stop in...say you want to be...and we can go from there. Old School Gamers would be nothing without the members and the admins that help run it. OSG would not be able to continue to grow without your input.
That being said, vote for your choice of time. The poll closes Friday afternoon. After the selected day/time for the member meeting, an admin meeting will occur right afterwards to discuss your concerns and suggestions. To assist us with this, once you vote, please post any suggestions for topic discussion as a reply to the poll. That way, we can have some kind of agenda for it and have it run smoothly without wasting your gaming time!

Will the meeting cover both RGP's and the Racing Series on the same night?
I know I wouldn't have any input on the RPG's since I don't play them, so I was wondering if there should be two meetings, one for each area...unless you say this is going to be just a general discussion meet/greet type of get-together.

Both Twister! Not only just a time to get in and meet the other members by who shows up, but for suggestions for OSG's future, concerns, feedback, etc. I'm sure there are some racers that don't really have an interest in the FPS games and vice-versa, but neither one should take that long (I wouldn't think). One of the admins should be able to bring an agenda (from any suggested topics in this thread) for the Member meeting so that it runs smoothly.

Not only is this an important time for members to bring up questions and concerns but hopefully for the admins to give insight into how, no matter what the game is, decisons concerning issues, obstacles or the future of OSG are approached as whole. You can look at the Admin Assignments (http://www.team-osg.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1899) to see how we try to ensure that someone is responsible for all servers we run and to represent the members who play those games. I know I would never want to see things be viewed as "us shooters" vs "those racers", or the opposite. All decsions concerning the dedicated box that runs the gaming servers are balanced between the two. Thats why its important for all admins to hear all issues, so they understand and can make balanced decisions.
Any member can approach any admin at any time to ask questions or express concerns. The admins routinely bring these up at our admin meetings for discussion. So please take this opportunity to take part in this meeting BUT don't think this is the only time you can express your opinions or ask questions of the admins.

Just because you can't be there does not mean you cannot voice an opinion. Email me or someone else on what you want to see happen and I will bring it up for everyone.

We have 20 votes (out of 60 active members/admins)....not even half yet. If you haven't voted please do!
Also, for the members, please post in this thread any idea/topics you would like to discuss in the member meeting so we have some sort of agenda.
Thanks

Unfortunately we'll have to go with the most popular day and time. If there is something you would like to have addressed in the meeting, please post it here. We'll make sure we talk about it. I'll also record it so that anyone who wants to, can listen to it at their convenience.
