Help Me Learn how to make Sigs Please????

Hey guys is there anyone out there that would like to help me out and try to teach me a little bit about how to make sigs. I want to learn but don't know how. Are there any books, web sites that would help me understand the concept? Let me know please.

Goat, the how to part really depends on what graphics editing program you are using. Some of us are using Adobe software while others are using Macromedia software.

Hare are some very basic steps I use in sig creation:

Create an image canvas in the pixel height and width dimensions you want, copy and paste a main image into the image canvas, play with the color, play with adding special filter effects, layer other images into the canvas, adjust transparency so that you see you main image thru ths image, add some text, and save a JPEG or a GIF file.

You can also animate the image by moving layers or text around or by adjusting their transparency. Some OSS use other programs to animate the image. It really all depends on the software you have available and how god you are with it.

I use Adobe PhotoShop CS, Adobe ImageReady, and ULEAD image and animation software. Plus third party filters loaded into PhotoShop.

I am sure that God Send, Beanaer, Heenalu, CherC, could all contribute to a "How To" section.

All I use is Paint Shop Pro 8 to do my image editing. It's powerful enough and simple enough when you need it to be.

Hey Ninja, I have seen others using PSP also, is that still shareware? If so let Goat know where to go get it and what features are the best.
