I had A blast last night...

First off I want to say thanks for letting me join your's all last night in some fraging. Sorry my Mic was not working. I just got a new laptop and I never used TS befor So I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

As you can tell by my play I'm new to the game play of an FPS on a PC { I suck :-P } But it was all good in the end there was some crazy games and I think I got the hang of what to do now.

We'll have to get you hooked up so that you can talk on TeamSpeak!

Here's a couple of settings to try :
Go to "Settings" and then "Sound Input/Output". If you want your mic to be voice activated, check that and make sure the slide bar is somewhere around normal. If you want to push a key to talk, pick a key on the keyboard to activate your sound when you want to talk.

Next, click "Settings" then "Options". Make sure "Direct Sound" is checked, then look under input output device at the bottom and select your sound card if you have one.

Try to talk then. If that doesn't work, it is probably one specific setting depending on whether or not you have Windows XP, Vista, etc. Here is the web site for TeamSpeak: www.teamspeak.org (http://www.teamspeak.org) - look in the forums as there are literally hundreds of topics on why various people have sound issues.

It was good to frag with you too last night...had a lot of good games! Don't worry about not doing well, COD4 takes a little getting used to...we were all the same in the beginning. Besides, the only thing we care about around here is that you have fun - no one cares about how good you are in any game!

OK I did everything you said and nothing :-( I think my Mic is dead... So I'm going to get a new one and see if that works. Also when I talk into my Mic I come threw my speakers. It odd so that why I think it's shot... I needed a new one anyway.


And yes My Sig and and Avatar are Deadpool... A friend it for me. I'm a big comic book geek. :-P
