VHR 08 came out today and i wanted to see what everyone thought of it.
My personal opionion is it is a dissappointment again. :( The Beta was good until he started to ignore certain people. The cars look really good, the tracks look the exact same, and the only difference in the physics that i could feel was I had to lift off the throttle for about 1/2 second. Everything is pretty darn close to 1.4 though and nothing like the Beta.
What does everyone else think about it?

I think the reason i say its a disappointment is because i was expecting something completely different. It is basically 1.4 so thats why im disappointed. I was expecting something completely different because the Beta was so good.

Well, according to VHR website, he said, "Well, I released version 1.0 of the 08 mod with surprise, suprise the wrong files. I feel pretty shitty about this and I am sorry for you guys taking the time to download and have it not to be the version I intended to release.
So, instead of releasing another full version, which if I where you would hate to download once again, I am going to fix all of the little bugs with the Cot SS Aero package, truck Physics, track lighting and release an upgrade patch on January 4th.
Basically he realized he doesnt know what he is doing and has to start all over again. Looks like racing with OSG will continue to be postponed

There is a pace car issue that i already noticed but i dont know what other tracks it is a problem on. It would definitly take some testing before we did a season on it but maybe like a 4 race schedule or something. Up to the admins. Im up for it if there arent any problems on certain tracks.
