Just when I was about to write off COD4, we start playing the MOD version. It has been great the last few nights. Great, you ask? I could tell last night once we got down to playing because TS suddenly went silent and guys were sneaking around. We had some pretty good last man on man plant the bomb action. (not the man on man you like Punisher)

I just wanted to start a thread and see what other folks think of the mod server. Tomb, Balti, Ninja and the rest of the crew, who I don't know have put a lot of work into it. It is going to take some time to get the right config. The only way improve it is to give them feedback. So feed away:

Okay I will go first, S&D is fun but the default weapons choice leaves a few locked out until the 2nd round. Maybe we could set it to SAB for now or try another mode like HQ. Maybe at some point when we have enough guys we take the time to choose up sides and get into the channels. I can see some 4x4 or 5x5 practice matchups.

Ya last night was sick... I loved how TS suddenly went quite also.

HQ may be fun if the HQ to win was bumped up to 500 from 250.

Now all we need to do is work on the kits and maybe the spawn times in HQ can be like 20 or 15.

All the feedback is great...I am working on a modded SAB gametype that will have the Object Icons removed from the HUD and add an initial map startup delay. After that I iwll work on an HQ modded gametype.

I would suggest to set the server filter to Mods and look for other modded servers to see what type of mods are out there and what features you like. Shop was the one that got me looking and I found the files for the current S&D mod, plus our own server tweaks in the main config file.

So if you find servers you think we should test out as a group we can do that to. Hopefully we can they save the files and upload them for use on our server.
