Check out this link to a thread discussing waht can be changed during a pit stop...includes aborting a pit to not go a lap down.

http://forum.rscnet.org/showthread.php?t=308090

Also check out these quote about league management.

Everything you see on the ASR page, ticker, live broadcast page, results, league scoring, and hotlaps will be included with ASR.

RPM will be releasing the new VMS for NR2003 for ARCA. Which will introduce team management along with it. Look to racepointsmanager.com for screen shots in the coming week.

RPM works off the driver profiles. Drivers signup for your league and enter information about themselves etc, including their picture. Everything is managed through an admin panel.

Not suggesting that ASR will be the "ticket" at release but these guys are getting close. Maybe by the fall, after all the early patching is done, we can have an ARCA series.

Check these videos out.

Whats all the excitement?

Here is a download and stream of a few laps run during the Pocono test broadcast a few weeks ago. The action, side by side racing and skill level of some of these drivers really show why many of us get involved in sim racing! http://forum.rscnet.org/images/smilies/thumb3d.gif

That 4th link (35mb) is fricken awsome. Finally a game that you can run the high line and actually compete. Plus the camera angles were actually realistic. They didnt have the VHR cameras where it is in the middle of no where. I cant wait.
Thanks Tomb

Ok, we need announcers for our races. Tomb, I'll be ready to run this series when it comes out so I hope more people are planning on buying this.

I have the MOMO wheel and the pedals.... we raced for about 1 week after I bought those....I may have to give it a whirl again. I need to figure out a good way to mount everything.....

I can go into the wall with the best of them. :)

Hey Roo, I can't remember your setup but I have in the past used a cheap under desk keyboard drawer to attach the wheel. It slides out so you can attach the wheel, it puts the wheel at a more comfortable height and when done remove the wheel, stow under the desk on top of the pedals and slide the drawer back in out of the way.

I was helping Mute get around Michigan last night before my PC started doing stupid shit. The racing guys will share what they know, give you setups and coach you around the track. They are a great bunch. Besides when Arca Sim Racing comes out everyone will be starting from scratch.

Well, I don't know what happened but after I pre-ordered the game I came on here and said so but I can't find any reference to it so I must have screwed it up somehow? I have a habit of hitting the enter button instead of the submit buttom and that's a no no! That might be what I did in that case but in any case I pre-ordered it !!!!!!! Now all I have to do is learn how to drive, lol! Ain't that the truth?
