Hey Pongo, I downloaded the map pack but I don't see a maps folder anywhere. I've searched every folder within the Steam folder under Program Files. I don't see any other listing on my C: for Steam/Valve/TF2. Do I create the maps folder? If so, what does it go under?

I haven't uploaded the map pack completely yet, it was too late and would've interfered with our server...sorry guys!

Don't worry about the map pack, I'll put it up on Sunday. Tonight is all stock, and I can change to other maps if you want me to. It's all set up. I'll post when it's up and give detailed and simple instructions. It's easier than you think.

For tonight, I'll be on TS about 1800 at the latest, and the server is good to go as of now. Tombstone is helping me get the downloads streaming for any custom maps we want to try, so I can just switch to whatever and enjoy.

On a last note, anyone interested in TF2 Ladder play? See Here (http://www.ugcleague.com/home.cfm) for info, I'd sign us up if we get 8 or so, to allow for absences in the 5v5 league. PM me if you're interested, I'll keep an eye open for 2 weeks and bump the thread during that time to allow people to read the invite. Just for fun of course! Otherwise, what's the point? It's a cartoon for chrissakes!

Current admins, there's an admin utility that's very simple and works with the beetlesmod seamlessly, download here (http://www.fpsbanana.com/tools/1931) and let me know to give you the admin password.

I look forward to seeing you all on in the next little while. Burn your friends, club your enemies!

I tried out the game a little. Don't care for medic much, heavy is ok...pyro is my favorite so far!

It was a lot of fun. Before I knew it, I had played it for 4 hours straight!

For those that don't have it and are wondering about it...it is just good fun. Is it the next greatest strategy game? Hell no! I can't think of anything else to say about it other than it is just fun. Great cartoon style graphics and has different game play modes (capture the flag style, deathmatch style, king of the hill style, etc)

There are different classes to play:

Soldier - fires rockets....looks and runs around like the chubby guy in the Beetle Bailey cartoons...LOL in the character selection screen, his helmet is so damn big it covers his eyes.

Heavy - Big mook that fires a chaingun. Slow as hell but powerful.

Medic - looks like a mad scientist - fires some silly needle gun and has a healing gun that reminds me of the guns that capture ghosts in Ghostbusters

Spy - disguise yourself as an enemy character - sneak up behind them and stab them in the back or destroy the engineer's toys.

Scout - little redneck looking guy that runs REALLY fast - great for getting to taking control points. Also can "double jump" in the air.

Pyro (my personal favorite) - run around with a flamethrower and ignite your enemies!

Demo Man - fires exploding rockets and also fires mines you can explode when enemies come near.

Sniper - another red neck looking guy whose shots become more powerful the longer you stay in scope...great for bigger maps and sitting up high picking off the enemy as they attempt to take a control point.

Engineer - set up sentry guns to pick off your enemies at control points (can be added to with more metal found lying around) - also can build dispensers which provide ammo/health to your teammates.

Each character class has a melee selection: baseball bat for the scout, knife for spy, wrench for engineer, big hands for heavy, etc. When a round ends in a tie, it turns into melee mania! Last one standing on your team with their melee weapon wins for the team.

Pongo has our server set up with a stats tracker, an anti-cheat tool and is adding custom maps to it. Kudos to Pongo...great job setting it up and keeping it going!
