among those up for BF2 ladder competition in this? It is an air and armor ladder. Here is a copy/paste of the rules :
Re-announcing this one. The rules have been updated and will be added to the official page ASAP. Basically, we are going to allow use of the AAV rather than only tank/APC. Also remember that the chopper is pilot-only, no use of TV missile is allowed.
The ruleset will be as follows:
Gameplay Rules:
All players will begin each round at their respective main base and will not leave until the round has officially begun.
Rounds will begin once the map has been restarted and the 15 second start delay has expired.
The chopper is not allowed to fire its TV missile.
Players may exit their vehicle to repair only.
Players may not switch vehicles during a round in progress but may do so between rounds if desired.
Players outside of their vehicles may be killed and will be considered a valid kill.
Players outside of their vehicles are not permitted to fire weapons of any sort. Mines and other explosives are not permitted.
Tank, APC, or AAV can be chosen as the armored vehicle.
Any weapon on the armored vehicle may be used.
Teams are not required to select similar armor or attack chopper types.
Players may engage any opponent and are not required to engage similar vehicles.
Players killed during a round may spawn at their main base but cannot leave until the round in progress has been completed.
The use of squad leaders or commanders is not permitted.
Capturing of opposing main bases is not permitted. Capturing of other flag positions is permitted.
Players may select a vehicle at any flag position which is available to them.
Match Format:
The challenged team gets side choice for round 1.
Teams will switch map sides on every 4th round (after 3 completed rounds).
Matches consist of 10 rounds of play.
A round of play is defined as both teams beginning at their respective main bases with 1 armored vehicle and 1 attack chopper and proceeding to play until only 1 team remains. Winner of round is determined as the team which is able to destroy all opposing players first.
Teams will receive 1 point for each round won.
Match winner is determined as the team with the higher number of points after 10 rounds of play.
Ties after 10 rounds of play (ie. score of 5 to 5) are decided by a sudden death round between a single player from each team. First kill wins!
ALSO Here is a 3v3 Sniper ladder :
This ladder is now open for business. Get yourselves signed up. No special permission or membership required. Ladders are open to all.
