Quick reminder that the deadline of midnight 15 February 2008 is fast approaching for Call of Duty 4 and Team Fortress 2 competitions! We have seven teams ready for action in CoD4 and four ready to go in TF2. We could use a few more for TF2 but we will run a short round robin season and recruit new teams as we go. It will still be loads of fun! BF2142 12v12 Titan is still looking for two more teams to get started. Lets get signed up for this one folks! As for BF1942 who said it was a dead game? We have a great team base already signed up for this! There is a strong possibility we will be starting with ten teams! BFCL isnt done with BF1942 yet!
To sign up:
1) go to http://www.bfcl.info/League/index.php?league=17&season=17&op=reg
2) click the "register" tab under the sign in area. When you register, you do not have to use your |OSG| tag.
3) Once registered, look at teams, select ours, click roster and beneath the list is where to put the password - the password to join our team is teamosg.
4) Once I get some of you in there and registered, I'll figure out how to manage the team and get those of you wanting admin access (and I'll definitely need help!) to the team the tools to do so.
5) Finally, you may have to sign up under each competition. Once you join the one ladder team, click on News and it should take you back to the competition page. There, look under competitions and use the drop down menu. I have our team signed up for COD4 and TF2 right now. The rest have not started yet. The BF2 ones may be ready soon for signups.
So, enough talk...get signed up. You DO NOT have to make every match. You DO have to be on the roster to compete at all (even if you only want to try it once).
IMPORTANT: TF2 players need to sign up for our team BEFORE February 15th. COD4 has until March 1st.

I'll figure out how to get everyone on the right team as we get closer...the ladder site isn't very user-friendly. We need some more on our rosters! Let's get signed up!!

Quiet Fire Boy...LOL Ninja wasn't going to participate, but we need all the "hacks" we can get!
Im all signed up. If i end up in a match, i may need to put the sniper away and pull out the P90.

I'm in... The site isn't very user friendly at all. I dont think you need to sign up for individual tournaments as long as your team has done so... but if you do, I couldn't figure it out (I never said I was smart...)
Currently applying for *real* jobs so maybe my schedule will be a lot more friendly for these tournaments, till then it's on a week by week basis.
I signed up and I figured if that fuzzy rat could do it I could do it, lol!

I am on the roster for cod4. Will we get any matches that are not on Sunday Nights? if not I will miss them as this is the same time as our cup races.

From the COD4 rules page, the default day/time for the actual league is Wednesdays at 9pm EST. That may be subject to change, but that's the official date/time right now.

I want to but Ive just been too damn busy. I actually played a bit of BF2 the other day and it was fun. I try to find my way to the TS sometime.

Wow another country heard from! If you put on your bifocals, after logging into that site and looking at our roster, at the bottom....that is BELOW the roster, you will see something that says Password : ___________________ <---------- put it THERE!
At least my wife lets me out of the house when I want to go out AND lets me on the computer to chat with my "friends" like you...that is IF you were ever around....I may be the President of my local SPOA chapter, but YOU still hold the record my friend! Congrats! I don't think it will ever be broken!! Speaking of needing bifocals....
