Berdie and I sat down and hammered out the settings that will be used for the first season of the 7v7 Domination division. The ones you need to concern yourselves with are as follows:
-The use of choppers and airstrikes will be allowed
-There will be a 400 ticket limit used for competition matches
-There will be no time limit used for competition matches
-There will be no teamkill penalty
-The spawn time after death will be set to 7.5 seconds
-The use of mounted machine guns is permitted
-The use of C4 and/or claymores in flag radius is forbidden. They are permitted to be used in other areas of the map, but never within flag radius.
Bloc, Shipment, and WetWork have been removed as map options for the 7v7 Domination division. All the others will be included as possible maps for the season.

If your team plans on participating in the first season, please post here saying so. If we don't see your post saying so, odds are we won't add you to the schedule.
In order for the season to commence, we need to ascertain that each and every team has at the very least one leader who is able to log into and use the BattleTech system properly. In order to do this, we need all the pre-season teams to have their leaders log into the BT site and "schedule" their matches as outlined in the other thread in this forum. What we specifically need is for one team to offer "a date", the other to respond, and the first team to post a proper score. The actual dates and scores don't matter at all. We just need to see that you are all using the system and are able to negotiate matches and post scores.
Until this is completely done, no new season will begin!
This is not done to punish anyone. This is done so that the admins aren't chasing people down for not scheduling their matches, for not responding to a negotiation thread, or for not know ing how to even log into the system to begin with.
If you have problems logging in or difficulties in using the system, we need to know ASAP so we can get moving. PM either Stalker, Berdie, or myself for assistance and we'll get to you as quickly as we can.
