BFCL TF2 Schedule released

Check our calendar for the matches as I have added all of them (the TF2 nights were removed to allow this on the calendar). So far, they are every Saturday night at 9pm EST starting March 8th. We are scheduled to host the first match on our server.

I started to get with the team we play against in the first match to coordinate things. I can't make the match since I won't be home that weekend. I know Pongo, Maxxblood and Tort have expressed interest in being team leaders. I'll leave all TF2 stuff to you guys to coordinate matches and practices.

I will try to make it and get some practice in. I do like the Medic but will play what ever kit is the best for the team.

Well D-Day is upon us lads. Its time to see what we are made of and bring the enemy to his knees in surrender.

Really I am just hoping we have 6 players Saturday and have some idea of a game plan. Match time is at 21:00 est against Task Force Ranger. Lets hope we can get an hours worth of practice in before the match.

Oh and Tomb...theres always room for a good medic.

Well, I registered on the BFCL site, but Im not sure if I can play in the match. Balti said you had to register for the match before Feb 15. Can I play tonight?

I'm assuming that if you're on the OSG team, you're entitled to play any type of game/match available without having to actually register for specific matches...am I correct?

I've had the pleasure of having the plague the last two days. Wheeee! Anyway, I'll get the server to what it's supposed to be (20 min rounds on 2Fort). I'll be on today on and off, look forward to tonight. 9PM EST for the match, but be on early so we can give numbers to the other team. They'll do as many as 8 , but we need a minimum of six. I'll be there for the game, but I'm more concerned with the server side until then. See Tort and Maxx for strategies.

You're on the roster Purp...no problems! They still haven't fixed the ladder/league site to modify rosters so ... no worries there!

Looking like the league might be a bust at this point. Eagerly awaiting news from BFCL on how they plan to proceed. I think our first match with TFR has been the only one so far where both sides showed up for the action. I wonder if we should have posted last week for a forfeit win over TLB.

I've arranged a meeting between some of my TF2 admins and Stalker from BFCL for tonight. We've wanted to get more involved in running the BFCL league and we think we can bring some more teams in. Maybe we'll have to re-start the season or something but at least we can get some more matches in that way.

I'll let you guys know what the outcome is.

Stalker is going to be announcing the current BFCL TF2 league being abandoned. I'm going to be working with him and a couple of my TF2 admins to get a new season launched as quickly as possible. Are there any other teams you guys would be able to get involved? Also, what are you like for custom maps? The stock maps are pretty boring so we're hoping to add some new ones.

Thanks for all of your help and interest in getting this off the ground Root. We will have to get the troops gathered round and ask about customs. We will also see if we can get any more teams interested.
