Just registered, thanks guys for the opportunitty for us to keep learning this game.
We are a BF2 clan and just got this game and are struggling to learn it and its new mechanics. Here is our brief history among the BFCL Teams so far:
We were owned by Section 8 badly, we lost a complete massacre to 4th Infantry, we beat TLS our first informal scrim, but lost to them rather badly on a more formal basis, we tied OGz but played down 2 players.
Now you see why we want to keep scrimming - we need to keep learning how to play as a Team as I feel we have rather good "individual" players.

This being a scrim and a learning experience, I vote you bring everyone who wants to play and if you have more than us (probably), let them play with us. Only so everyone gets to play and experience a TEAM competition versus a pub environment. This is for fun and trying to get a grasp on Team play vs pubbing. IF you want to keep it strictly Teams, NP we understand. 7 vs 7 minimum to start with as the League states and we'll add players as each side has available and rotate in whoever has to sit.

Map? We don't care as we need help on them all. We have played Ambush for 2 straight weeks (and been owned), so we need work on it, but would rather play something new. Pick one and we'll play a side each.

Our match server is 72.21.32.70 standard port and the password is bfcl. That sounds good with evening up the teams if we have more or vice versa...no problems there. Informal scrims are great. Our server is set for all maps being run in the BFCL competition and is all domination mode. We can pick the map(s) Sunday night if you want...no big deal. Most of us have (or are still) played BF2. We don't have a server in that right now, but if you guys do, we'd love to re-visit that and do a scrim night some night too.

Damn right! I just finished playing some BF2 and honestly, i miss it. It's nice to have vehicles, helos, jets, etc. again...I'm definately up for some BF2!

That's the thing that sucks about time zones...I'm usually off before everyone's done with COD4. I guess we could check with the oWs guys and see when they play.

I can ask the guys if they want to do a BF2 Infantry scrim for fun. We play a Match every Thursday night in the BFCL. 5 vs 5, but usually ends up 7 vs 7 or so. I am personally finding it hard to play both games. I get back to BF2 and can't remember how to throw a nade. Duh!
Season is about to end and then the BF2 8 vs 8 starts up, 16 player Maps, use everything/full combat, NO Commanders. I personally love that rendition. All vewhicles and fixed guns in use, no radar so you can still sneak around, helos, but few Jets as most 16 player Maps don't have them, no arty!
You guys should join.
