Free For All Game Play

Got in a free for all server at 4 am it was awsome what a way to make some really fast points and gain some unlocks and such it was Pretty Awsome. what is your Favorite COD4 Game Play ?

I don't mind free for all servers I use them to get unlocks and such. I like the search and destroy maps and domination pretty good. There is one map I hate. The ship one.... I don't think it is really made for a lot of players to play on. If you could eliminate the chopper and airstrikes, it would be a cool map. Choppers and airstrikes on this map is like calling in arty on noncaps on BF2.

I agree Sniper...the ship map is good if you have 6 or 8 players max. As for arty and choppers, I don't mind arty in any maps but that chopper annoys the hell out of me! Oh well, part of the game...

God no... we tryed it out and it was a camp/ nad fest. It only works when you have a small 4-6 players more then that it gets crazy and you can not spawn.

and i'm talking on most maps.

Try free for all 24/7 Shipment servers. Preferably those with more than 20 people.

You spawn, you either kill 10 people in 2 seconds, or you die in .0005 seconds.

No kidding.

1. Filter your internet settings to only servers running a map called Shipment.

2. Look for the lowest ping server called 24/7 Shipment.

3. Create a class for whatever gun that you want to max out.

4. Enjoy the insanity.

This is how I got to level 40 and am still lost on all other maps.

That is the map I was on took me oh say half hour or so to go from gunny to 2nd luie. and got several unlocks it was a total wild ride....

Those other servers are good for ranking up. People have been using them to quickly move up since the game came out. Thankfully we won't be running our server like that. ;)

thats what I am using them for its not real fun playing on a server where everyone else weapons out class yours by leaps and bounds and you are nothing but a target to everyone after a while you just get frustrated and drop out.

yep thats why the free for all is a good thing...

I tried free for all yesterday and it's crazy...i ended up averaging 130 kills per match. The trick i found was to hold the "back" key and the "shoot" key while waiting to respawn. If you are lucky enough to survive backing up a couple steps, you can usually get 4 or 5 kills before someone's martydom gets you. Oh yeah, martydom works great for this gameplay as well. The down side is this gameplay requires no skill or teamwork...it's just people kneeling in a corner spraying rounds on a spawn point. If you had only a half dozen guys playing, I'm sure it could be fun...but with 30 it's just crazy!

I know that this is an old thread but I had to input a little. There is a server that I love to play on called "KYR" it's a team player deathmatch server. It's kinda hard getting into sometimes because it's always full but when I do theres no problem getting 500 to 1500 points every map. It's an easy server to rank up on.
