View Full Version : Rage's Screenshots
Hey guys,
Since we are talking about MMO's I thought i would post a couple pictures of me and my last MMO Star Wars Galaxies an Empire Divided.
Here are a couple pictures of me in game. The first one is of me my house. The room is my armory where i stored all my weapons. I was a Bounty Hunter so i had a ton of them. i kept a lot of them so any new comers to the guild would not have to buy any.
Another one was taken on the 4th of July, while the fireworks were going off.
The third one is a pic of me in my armor (sorry was looking down at my feet) at my storage building (it was really just a small house where i kept a lot of my necessities).
The Graphics were not that great back then... but it was my first MMO and still til this day i have not played a better game.

Sweet Maxx.. post them so we can see them!
I was a bounty hunter and a very good one at that (it came with a lot of trial and error though).
I was in the most feared guild on the server and we had 4 active bounty hunters with me being the most active. The point of our existence was to take out Jedi's in preparation for attacking the enemy guild's base. If we took the jedi's out, then they were not strong enough to fight when it came time to take out the base. We even had spies who's soul purpose was to gain access into the enemy's guild and become a full member. They would then pass us all the info we needed to do our job.
Being a bounty hunter was the way I made my money. In game, it was my way of living. I killed many jedis and in some cases killed them multiple times. I kept a hit list that was viewable by any person in the game. If they viewed my profile, I had a list i titled "Victims". Every Jedi i killed went onto my victim list. I was a very established and recognized BH on our server, so when i would walk into a bar, jedi's (not knowing if i had their bounty) would run out of all exits. Talk about a power trip!
Being a bounty hunter was fun as hell. You would track down a jedi, find them and then attack them. They were all real players like you and I. When I attacked them I would have to drain their energy (which could mean a long 5 minute fight) and when it was low enough, it would incapacitate them and they would remain motionless for a long period of time. At that point you can either let them live or deliver a death blow and kill them.
My most memorable kill came one day when i tracked down a new jedi on the server to a star port. Him and his other jedi friend were waiting for a ride to another planet. So I found him... targeted him and was about to attack him. But, i thought i would play with him and his friend a bit. So i messaged his friend and asked.. "so who is better.. you or your other jedi friend"? He said he was.. so I told him.. "why dont you duel your friend and prove it" (his friend is the one i had the bounty on). So they started dueling and like any fight, a crowd gathered. They continued to fight and i just blended in the crowd. Finally, the one i talked to incapacitated his friend (my mark). So, i stepped out and delivered a death blow and took off running! People could not believe what they just witnessed. A BH tricked a jedi to do the dirty work for him and then kill the jedi when he was down. I received a million hate messages from the guy.
I found my mark and had his friend knock him out so i didn't have to do the work. All i did was step out of the crowd and slit his throat. Not an easy task if i was the one to initiate the fight. But, very easy if I let someone else do the work for me.
After that... I was labeled a coward by the alliance guilds and one of the best jedi's on the server by the imperial guilds. I made a name for myself and was feared where ever i went. Did I feel important? yes... Did I feel feared? yes.. and did I think I was one of the baddest BH's on the server? I didn't have to think it... everyone knew it.
The game was fun... for the two years i played it. The Devs completely overhauled the combat system and nerfed the BH's and the Jedi's. Not to mention the 6 months it took me to become a BH and the year it took to become a jedi... was gone. Any new person to the game could start as a jedi. The game has since died.

Man All that sounds so cool... I wish that the Devs did not Eff the game the way they did. I so wanted to play it.
One of my friends Plays to this day in hopes that it will pick back up. That sad.
SOE shot them selfs in the foot when it came to that IPO.
Yeah Maxx,
It was a great game. A lot of people left the game and the servers emptied out after the combat upgrade. This also happened during the time Wow was released, so a lot of people left. The cool thing is, the guild I was in still exists, though some things have changed. They have made it into a mutual alliance / Imperial guild. Which in my mind sounds weird considering it was the most hardcore Imp guild on the server.
The cool thing is, that the guild has candles lit in the city to remember some of us original members. When you hover your mouse over the candle it will have the name of the person pop up. Pretty cool...
Its unfortunate that such a great game was destroyed. All of the SOE community agrees.
