ARCA Sim Racing Season 1

With our SCE season winding down its time to get ready for our first ARCA Sim Racing Season, and we have a lot of work to do. I am aiming at Sunday May 5th as the first race to kick off the season at Daytona. We will run a full 10 race season and may add races to it as new tracks come out. One of the biggest things we need to do is really put our server through its paces and start to recruit new drivers. I know many of you already have this game and for those of you who dont it is well worth it. This is like nothing we have raced on rFactor, the cars handle different (much better) and you can find that sweet spot unlike many of the rFactor stockcar mods we have run. If you dont have it yet you can find info on it here (http://www.thesimfactory.com/index.html) and for those who do have it we need to be in our server much more than we have been. "If we are there they will come"
I will get up all the series info in the next few days so keep your eyes open. Hope to cya on the track.

I will work on updating the racing site pages to reflect info on the new season. I would ask that all the ARCA racers please set up a quick chat key to direct other racers to our racing site. From there the will be directed here to teh racing forums and the rest of OSG.

Good question Pill....When are we going to have an admin meeting to setup the day of week, tracks we are running, amount of laps, rules, etc.? I think the game is great and I am so ready to get back on the track!!!

Yes Pill this will be on Sunday Nights. Dannie I will post the full Rules and Race Order by this weekend. Other than that we just need to be on the server running laps. We could have a big group running this series as a lot of people are asking about it.

I would like to call a meeting for everyone who plans on running in the upcomming ARCA Series. It has been brought up that some drivers my not be happy with the rules that we are using this season. So I think that the best way to set up the new series is to have all drivers take part in voting for the new rules. I would like to have the meeting on Thursday April 17th at 9:00est. So bring your questions and sugg and we will vote on the new rules.

I'll be out of town...but I vote YES! :) I'm game for whatever you guys decide....

I will be unable to attend the meeting.
I would like to run 100% damage, No Aids (except for auto clutch), Forced Cockpit view, and 75%-100% race length (Arca runs shorter races) with normal tire and fuel usage. But that is just me.
Let me know what everyone decides!!!
