Vegas 2 Got It!

I am loading it as I speak. I got the day off today so I am getting ready to hunker down with it. I will let ya'll know.

Not many on for MP this afternoon. I played Team Leader where if the leader stays alive you can respawn. The leader is supposed to make it to the extraction point. He dies no respawns but you can still win by killing the opposing team's leader and their crew. Overall it was pretty good gameplay even though most of the competition was eurotrash. They have in-game voice now so you can hear them going "Fafafa usa porka rinds!".

As far as the game itself, it is really pretty and the graphics are great. I played on the old Import/Export map today it looks great. Laser sights really show up well. It seems every AI sniper uses it so it is easy to pick them off. You get unlocks for long range shots, CQB and other feats. I am only on chapter 2 of the single player right now.

Went to Best Buy they said it will be out 042408. They showed it for $44 at circuit City but they had no idea when they would get it and told me to buy it on the web. I then went to Game Stop and bought it for $49. So far one new patch out yesterday. By the way call first because I got last copy in stock.

For those that are lucky to be playing it ... keep the reviews coming. I really like the multiplayer scenario you described Mac. Seems to promote team play without being a game killer.

Hope to see more good things about V2 when I get back.

I got it yesterday and was able to play a little with Nip, Spinal and Viper before I had to get off the computer. First impressions...pretty good. The one map we played in "Terrorist Hunt" was a revamp of the Oil Refinery from Raven Shield. I recognized another map from the last Vegas game as well. We played Coop Terrorist Hunt (up to 4 players).

Another version is coop story. You can play the single player game by yourself, or with one other person via this mode. Story and Terrorist Hunt are the two types of coop multiplayer.

Finally, and I would like to try these versions tonight....there is Adversarial Mode. Here is what they entail from the instruction booklet:

Attack and Defend: The ultimate goal of these matches is similar - two teams fight for control of an objective. One team assaults the location to gain the objective while the other team defends. Three types:
Item Extraction: Locate and recover valuable intel before the other team can stop you.
Hostage Rescue: One team must prevent the other from freeing and escorting hostages to an extraction point.
Demolition: Plant your bomb in one of two target bomb sites and prevent the other team from defusing it.
Team Deathmatch: -self explanatory
Deathmatch: - same (like free for all in COD4)
Total Conquest: Teams must capture three satellite transmitters and hold them for 30 seconds in order to win.
Team Leader: The teams must support and protect their team leader in order to secure a victory. Leaders can win by making their way to the extraction point. Players can respawn as long as their team leader is alive.

For those of you who are waiting to buy RBsix Vegas 2 procrastinate no longer its a pretty awsome game thus far....played several different game modes and its pretty damn good.... !

I got it on Wed but haven't been able to play it as my Gaming computer went TIT's up Wed afternoon and I can't figure out what is wrong with it. I'll keep trying. Brit if you read this when yoou want to play Vegas 1 let me know?
