Hi Heenalu. I don't know much about the Intel platform any more but it looks like you have a bunch of good parts married up nicely. I did want to make sure that the power supply you listed would support your PCI-E video cards. Make sure it has PCI-E power connectors and, since it looks like you plan on an SLI setup, see if it has 2 for SLI compatibility. Check to make sure that adapters can fill your needs if it doesn't.
Also, as far as the SLI setup goes you may want to check out the link below. It is a chart form Tom's Hardware that shows the expected frame rates from single card and dual card setups. Look at the botom for the section on F.E.A.R., this would be the type of 3D game that would be most similar to BF2.
http://www.tomshardware.com/2005/12/02/vga_charts_viii/page20.html
If you look at the 6600 cards you'll see that you can meet or beat the SLI setup with a single 6800 card. You may want to comapre the cost of a single 6800 card to the dual 6600 cards. This would give you an easier future upgrade path of adding another 6800 card rather than having to pull out both your 6600s to upgrade.
Enjoy your system building!

i would go with the antec 500 or true 550 for future Sli set up as Tomb suggested.

i'd suggest one beefy card instead of the 2 6600's. BUT 2 6600 gs's will outperform a single 6800(what 6600's did you get...reg?). Its the higher end cards like the 7800 and x1900's where you only want one if your not using a huge screen (1600x1200). Its the only big advantage with SLI on the bigger cards.
MAKE sure you have a good power supply!!!!
I'm pretty sure that 420w won't cut it for a SLI setup.
If you need to buy a diff power supply make sure it has the pci graphics card connectors

Well, here is my suggestion Single Core CPU if it's just for games and 1 nice simple single vid card. The board would be nice future proof if you're adding more video cards but the thing about SLI is if the driver does not support the game then SLI is useless. Also until we have full 64 bit games where multithreading is utilized to the max save the change and get a single core. If you're sticking with Intel get the 65nm Presler 600 series. Amd just get a simple AMD64 3800+ or something nice. I guess the duel cores for the AMD's would be nice but how far along are they with using DDR-II ram?
I personally would go with whatever is at the time convient and decently priced. I'm waiting for the new line of Intels also because they supposively solved the heating issue and also got some performance out of the new core. Only time will tell where the CPU and Video wars will go but one thing is clear when Vista comes out the Video wars will no longer be as stupid as they are now. Why? because the video companies become M$ bitch because of the code structure change that is coming with DirectX 10.
So Heenalu that is not bad but you may also want to research some other boards like ASUS, Gigabite, DFI-Lanparty, MSI, couple others I don't care much for but look at the feature set and don't just hop on the best bang for buck. Ram try Corsair, Mushkin, OCZ, or Geil. If you're going to buy a case get a good sized case with enough ventilation and for good power supplies I suggest Antec, Enermax, or some of the other brands. I said if you're going to add the possible 2nd SLI card get 500+ PS. I say for HD's get some of the cheaper smaller drives throw in 2 on a Raid 0 array then get some HD imaging software and a 3rd drive then keep that as a backup. May cost a bit more but if you put some thought into the way you build your PC it will last you plenty of time.
Okay I'm done have fun.

No actuallyhe was referring to this:

He asked me to build him a system and I went a little crazy with the idea. It will arrive overclocked and tested for stability along with BF2; R63 RS/AS/IW; and the R64 demo preloaded and tweaked. It may be the last system I build cuz this one took sooo much freakin' time.
