I think the connectivity issues are boiling down to the fact that my copy is a Direct2Drive purchase. At this point I would advise those that are thinking of buying this game to purchase the full retail version.

Hey Ninja,

What are the problems you are having? My brother bought the Direct 2 Drive version and had problems with the update. The update wouldn't download automatically so he downloaded manually. It appeared to install but the game version was still incorrect. The problem is unique to the D2D version. As a result he could login but would only see one or two games on-line. Is this the problem you are having? Cause there is a cure :D

Step 1 - Download the Patch manually
Step 2 - Open WinRAR (free download - similar to WinZip) and then open the Downloaded patch. You should see a bunch of folders in the exe file.
Step 3 - Extract the Binaries folder to your Vegas2 folder (select replace all)
Step 4 - do a search for the Vegas2.exe file. the pached version will be located in some RANDOM location on your harddrive!! Move it into the Vegas 2 folder and replace the old version.

You should now be patched and see all of the games on-line.

Just for S&G's I manually downloaded the patch and ran it to no success. I can see servers I just can't connect to them. The only one I was able to connect with was a dedicated server. I have WinRAR so I'll give the above solution a shot. Thanks. :)

Where did you get it from... Because if I get it I was got into to get it from steam. Best Buy Did not have ir when I went and I may have to pick it up that way.
