Hi Guys,
My brother-in-law and his family were in town this weekend and we went to the races. I totally forgot to ask if anyone was heading to RIR this weekend. :rolleyes:
It was a great race weekend the Busch (excuse me, "Nationwide") series and Sprint Cup both had great races and exciting finishes.
Our local boy, Denny Hamlin almost swept the series but a right front tire went down with less than 20 laps to go to ruin it...nobody had anything for him in the Cup race, where I think he broke the record for most laps led.
He won the Friday nite race with a super smart move; he was the only car in the top 4 to pit for tires with little more than 30 laps to go...it was a matter of time before he hit the top spot and ran away with itl! :D
Overall a very good race weekend...unless your a Dale Jr. fan (you know what happened already so I wont dredge up the details here:mad: )
