Vegas2 - terrorist hunt bots much more agressive!

I haven't specifically seen this mentioned in the list of fan pack features, but as Goat and I were playing last night on Calypso Casino and Murdertown Dark, we seemed to be playing harder than ever against the computer.

It seems they beefed up the AI to make the computer more aggressive so these guys are no longer waiting for you to come trigger them, they will bring it to you.

So, in many cases your best bet is to find a spot with good cover and keep your eyes open for them -- you'll get occasional pauses and once you've wiped out a lot of them, you do need to advance up the map a bit to get them coming again as before.

On Murdertown Goat and I had to actually put together a tactical plan just to get out of the Murdertown spawn point. So, whatever they did definately tightens up teamwork and communication, you'll need to rely on it more at least on realistic settings.

Righty-O Bucko! The AI is intense now. We had 4 on last night, Nip, Spinal, Billy and me. We could not finish the Night CQB map. The daylight maps are challenging but still can be beat. They are more aggressive and you have to cover each other because going out alone will cause deadmeatitis. Good fun last guys. Maybe when some more guys join we can go into the High Stakes mode and check it out?

Yep, and that's why terrorist hunt is vastly improved.

Versus is better too. I've played a little high stakes mode -- the mode itself isnt really that much harder. You can't see as much while taking cover, but neither can your enemy so it balances out. Just takes little bit of getting used to.

If you play terrorist hunt a lot, and then go into versus, it will seem like versus is hard but it's not if you do it regularly. It just changes your tactics a little. When I play versus regularly, then drop in for an occasional terrorist hunt game, I get owned because I'm not used to the bots.

Also, the new A.C.E.S system seems like a minor change, but it actually adds a lot to the game.

Actually I have leveled up twice since the patch. I made Captain last night. I got some cool goggles now.
