When I finish my car, I save it as a TGA file instead of a JPEG. (The JPEG makes mine shiny). Then I change it to DDS.

I have read that you can change it to 1024X1024 instead of 2048x2048 (or what ever the sizes are) or do something with the Alpha to keep it from being shiny but it didnt work for me. Plus, the TGA is easy enough.

Hope it works for you and that is a cool looking car.

yea, your dds file is missing the alpha layer when it turns out like that.

how are you converting your paintscheme to a dds file? I use dds converter 2. It will convert from a bmp file or straight from a psd file. I paint my cars in psd form then convert them using dds converter 2 and wala...looks perfect. One way to fix yours is open a dds file from another car with photoshop and copy the alpha layer then open your dds file and paste the alpha layer in, in order to do this you need the dds plugin for photoshop also. If you want I can get on teamspeak with you later tonight and help out.
