Battlefield 2 Server

SniperDoug now has our BF2 Ranked server online, I think we should keep the vanilla server online which would allow us to play it along with BF2 Special Forces. I don't see a need for us to host a BF2 MOD server because there are plenty out there that we could join in if we want to such as PR, POE2, etc.

Please post your thoughts.

Unless I am wrong and I will check it out again to verify, we also have armored fury and euro forces too as part of the ranked server. I do have PR 0.8 ready to install, I just need to transfer it from my PC to the server box and install it. Like Pill said, let us know what you want us to do.

pr 0.8 sounds cool to me as well as vanilla and desert conflict was also very cool.

I liked what I saw with NAW. I wiped it off my drive several months ago. I noted that they support a co-op mode. That might be cool. Let me know if we are going this way.

This actually is the fastest link I found out of the 3 they have posted. I got it in a Comcastic 45 minutes. You DSL fellers may expect a couple of hours of traffic.:p

Hey Guys I have a big problem? Maybe some one can help? A couple of weeks ago I was playing BF2 with a bunch of the guys. Well the other night everybody decided they wanted to play some BF2. Well, I got my CD out and tried to start the game, but it wouldn't start. I tried to start it from the Desktop Icon, from inside the programs and inside the the program files but it would not start. I tried at least 15 or 20 or more times but no luck? I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it, it's been 7 times now, but it still won't start. Was there any win updates that came out during that period that might have affected it? I am running it on WIN XP Pro with an 8800 GTX and 3GB RAM. All other games appear to work fine? No more than normal scratches on the disc and like I said I had been playing it about 4 or 5 days prior to trying it again? HELP!!!
