Hey everybody, sorry I haven't been around much lately. I just built a new system so I thought I'd share. Here are the specs for the important stuff.
AMD Athlon 64 x2 4200+
ASUS A8R32-MVP Deluxe MOBO
2GB Corsair XMS running in dual channel (just added one 512MB stick from what I had before)
2 Western Digital HD's, 250GB, 16MB cache, running RAID 0
Radeon X1800XT, 256MB
Samsung 940B LCD (using DVI cable)
Had a few bumps in the beginning but an upgrade to the BIOS fixed the issue and it's been stable ever since and extremely fast. Running game video settings on high for everything at 1280x1024 @85 and 6x AA in BF2 I was seeing around 77-81 FPS in single player mode. Would temporarily drop to 66 when bots were around. That's also with the vid card set at it's factory defaults.
