Reinstalling BF2

Hey...I had to reinstall BF2 and am having problems updating patches. I am updated to patch 2.1, but when I try to upgrade to 2.2 it says that I am required to install 2.1...what's up with that? Would the simplest thing to do be uninstall BF2 again and start over? Is there a way to revert back to a previous update...ie: go back to 1.1 without uninstalling the whole game? Thank for any responses!

Disregard the post...I simply downloaded and installed the full version of 1.22. The problem was last night I guess the servers were really busy and downloading was slow, so I downloaded each patch individually...i must have screwed up somewhere...thanks anyway...

I would suggest getting the whole or full 1.22 patch, then its just one install. I had the same problem with the incremental after a re-install.

Now my problem is I lock up on the account server log-in screen. Probably have to do another install, but not in the mood to do that right now. I went form loving this game when I had no problems to hating it for being such a pain.
