Point of Existence 2.5

I'm going to be getting a Point of Existence server running for those that don't want to deal with the typical vanilla BF2 crap, like vehicle whores, rocket launcher whores, and what not. If you want to join, you'll need to get the mod files. Here are the direct links to both parts.

Since it's unranked I can lower the amount needed to start the round. :) Amongst other things like no hit icon. :D

what is no hit icon?When you shoot someone you don't get the little "X" that shows up on your cross hair. So until you get the kill confirmation, you won't know if you actually hit the guy or not.

To answer your question, Point of Existence is just a BF2 mod. Adds new maps, tweaks some settings, and adds new weapons and vehicles, etc. I thought you played it with us?

Just my damn luck. I downloaded both 1 and 2 but I only installed 1 and I can't seem to get 2 to install for some unknown reason?

lso every time I download Project Reality, it downloads ok but when I try to install it, it tells me that it is corrupt so I have to download it again and that's over an hour download? Yes I have changed my download locations.

I waited until no one was around or on our web site and I tried to install it again and it worked perfectly. I mean it installed perfectly and after I tried it I can say that it indeed works perfectly, so hoooorah! Now I'm ready to play. I think?

Ok Downloading POE as we speak. I guess I did not have the game installed. Probably because I reformated a couple months back.

Then install both PoE files and you're good to go. If you want you can make a new account and use that. PoE disregards rank and unlocks anyway so you won't be missing out on anything.

POE is done and I had the patches backed up from my last config. So im all set. Just gotta install the game and launch the patch and then load up POE. I should see you guys on line Saturday night. Friday night I have company... may jump on Thursday if possible.

I had to create a new account as I could not retrieve the Tranzen account. I was going to go under the name "Koobasaw", but I could not see myself playing every day under that name. :P

So, I spent some time last night online with Ninja and I am up and running for POE. I just got done setting up my controls and now im ready to throw down! I have made no plans for the soul purpose of playing all night on Saturday night. If you guys are not busy, come on line and join me.

I have company coming over on Friday night, but I think they will be out of the house by 9pm. I will jump on then as well.
