Ok I have decided to renew my iRacing package and do some more playing around with it. I always liked the Sim but didnt really have anyone to run it with so it just faded into the background. When I went to renew I rec a nice suprise, all of the priceing had dropped, the renewal the cars and the tracks have all dropped in price. Now looks like a good time to try it if you have ever thought about it. You basic package gives you several cars and tracks and right now if you goto this site (http://racecontrol.indycar.com/?type=false) and goto the bottem right side of the page look for the add and go from there, you can do a 3 month package for $24 and get the $12 Indy Car free. Post if you decide to try it out and I will try to meet up with you and do some racing.

Viper is this a new league or something? 'm not sure what you are talking about. Is it a program like ARCA or rFactor only strictly Indy cars? I'm totally lost. I know, what's new?

just checked this out, looks pretty good,i might consider it if we have enough to do it.dont wanna buy and not play.maybe we should have a sign up sheet or something....accually,im a little confused.when you buy it for 24 dollars for 3 months, are there only certain cars you can race or does it include all cars like sprint cup cars and such...

Guys goto this link (http://www.iracing.com/membership/) and check it out. It shows the cars and tracks that are included with the package. You can buy new cars and tracks at anytime or you can earn money when you race in iRacing official events they hold them all the time. You also get the free IndyCar when you use that promo code from my prev post. This is not like ARCA or rFactor its not a game its not easy to race these it is a TRUE SIM. If you have any questions give me a yell.

I would like to know if any IRacers would like to take the next step and use their IRacing membership on a simulator that would provide three 40inch screens, up to 500watts of sound, full motion of the car... a simulator from VGT which can be seen online. Your cars could be used on our simulators, and you could race with your buddies in the same location... We would also be developing our own leagues as well as hosting IRacing events. What are your comments ?

Iceman, I see you are in New Brunswick... Its nice to hear from a fellow canuck. I am originally from the Toronto area.
Well, as far as you getting in on the simulators and the use of - you would have to come to Tampa. At the moment though I am seeking out people in Tampa to see if there is any desire or need for me to set this up.

Of course once we are able to startup - you could join our race events.

So, folks in Tampa - I need to hear from you. Is IRacing just for computers or are you drivers just waiting to experience IRacing with the use of a $20,000+ simulator ?
