Aye sir, 'ang that scurvy dog ninja from the yardarm! Pirates always stand watch! Even when their mates are dreaming of the next day's pillage. yaaaargh. A pirate can be three sheets to the wind and still do anything a ninja can muster. Ninjas can not swim, except, of course, when they have their yellow duck floatie ring.

ninjas are gay. keyhole is the proper term and punishment for them.

Yes, it should be spelled keelhaul. Since there are only three nautical savvy OSS members, (you, me, and lightstrike) I spelled it "keyhole" way for effect, because ninjas are gay.

For you lubberly types, another of my long winded nautical explanations:

Keel Haul. A punishment, (torture), on the high seas during the Tall Ship era:
Put his hands and legs behind his back and bind all four together behind his back. Now tie the end of this rope around one arm, throw his scurvy arse overboard, and give enough slack so he scrapes the KEEL. Now the crew lines up on the rail, from the stem of the ship, to the stern (one end of the ship to the other end). The crew passes the end of the rope from one to another (HAUL) for the entire length of the ship. If the crew likes the man, they pass the rope quickly, so that he doesnt drown, but the faster they pull (HAUL), the more he scrapes the hull and the barnacles. If they pull slow, he wont scrape as much, but he might not be able to hold his breath that long and he will drown. So the crew wonders how fast is too fast. An interesting punishment for both the crew and the offender.
