Okay I set up Hamachi yesterday. I connected to the OSS network fine. I saw other members there. Today I started up Hamachi and it has says "reconnecting" all day. Any ideas? I searched their lame support and found no answers. I opened a port on my router for it.

Hey McFeely,
I have had that exact same issue on several different PC's. The wierdest scenario was when I connected to Hamachi with my laptop and then (literally) seconds later started up Hamachi on my Main PC and it hung up at the reconnecting stage!!! Both PC's are going through the same router and Internet connection ?!?
I think that error might be more of a function of a problem with the Hamachi server. My understanding (albeit limited) is that when you initially connect, you are routed through a hamachi server first until connected to your virtual private network (OSS in your case).
To correct it I usually turn of and exit out of Hamachi, Repair my LAN/Ineternet Connection, Do a few shots of tequilla and try again :D
Also there are two new versions out there Version 0.9.9.9, Version 1.0.058 and more recently 1.0.0.60. I think the last two are BETA versions (so what else is new with software...it isn't a final version until it is no longer supported) but Crazy, IowaBrit, Goat, Napalm006 and I have been using 1.0.0.58 to play Raven Shield, and Lockdown with no problems.

Well I am going to work on it this afternoon. I finally going to be home more than 5 hours this weekend. I will poking my head in Vent for some troubleshooting tips tonight. I would like to get it fixed so I can get in on that RS and GRAW action.

I should be on-line this evening (Friday June 21) and will keep an eye out for ya'
PS I tried to log into Hamachi last night and the first attempt hung at the Reconnecting stage for at least 10 minutes. I powered off Hamachi and Powered it back on and connected instantly....seems a bit tempormental.....
Just like me 1/2 tempor....1/2 mental :D

Well I fixed it like I fix most software. Uninstall and reinstall. Works perfect now. I guess the proof will be when I log off. Going out buy a new washer now. Strange that my hammer to hardware method did not work. It usually does.

Did you use a small 9mm hammer or the often overlooked 12 gauge hammer? I find the spread is better without a full choke, but it all depends on the focus of your repair.
