Played this morning Co-op with a guy from Sweden. He had his Hamachi server up and I was pinging 195. It ran smooth as butta. No lag. Is anyone else interested in playing this game via Hamachi? I know 4 players is the limit for Coop but there are adversarial modes like Deathmatch and Domination. Public servers suck for those modes. There are a lot of wall hacks out there. I would be willing to host.

I've played several times over Hamachi with hedgehog_jr and CaptCoolio and though I was hosting, I did not hear any complaints about lag....

I would be up for it!

Yah, I'm in!

I worked great using Hamachi when I played with Coolio and slaughter, no lag issues at all.

There is also a new pactch for GRAW, 1.20 I think it is the version I'm running now.

I played a little bit with a friend of mine. Seems like a cool game. I'd be up for some gaming some night.

New Patch today with 2 new multiplayer modes.

I'd recommend 'gameshadow' to download this, its free (you have to register) but the program keeps a list of all the games you have installed and automatically finds any new downloads/mods/versions etcetera and lists them by game. My download speed on cable was 580kb/sec which isn't too shabby.

I checked it out and it looks like a useful program. Thanks for the tip.

GRAW is Tom Clancys Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter. Hamachi is a program that lets you play LAN games over the internet. It's a free download and once you have it installed you can set up networks with your friends. It shows when they are online and generally has good connectivity

GRAW is a pretty good game as far as graphics go, but for me, the control system is a bit 'soggy' that is, you can't seem to point and shoot like you do in BF2, aiming takes seconds and swapping from guns to grenades etc takes time too. I had a really hard time getting the controls set right and I'm still not entirely happy with it. There are long intro scenes which you cannot exit out of, and there is no respawn if four of you are playing so once you are killed, thats it, and you can't spectate. I'd give the game about 5.5 out of 10. It has good atmosphere and good weapon selections but the controls suck.....

The new patch took out the cut scenes so you don't have to watch them anymore. It also added death cam if you get killed on tha mission. The gun switched don't bother me as much. Yes in a co-op mission once you are dead you are dead. No respawn like in real life.

I would not mind a match or 2 McFeely. I have not heard you on much and you are always a good laugh, I have played a fair bit with Slaughter and HedgeHog and I have also hosted via Hamachi and have have really good results. I truly enjoy the Co-op but I would not oblect to the search and destroy. Just let me know which date and I will try to be on to GRAW.
