Welcome to the Old School Gamers Racing site. The majority of racers here came together through Old School Gamers |OSG|, bringing vast and varied experiences in Sim Racing with them. Most of the racers had come from Papyrus', EA's, SimBin's, Codemasters', or other racing Sims/Games. We began our first series in early 2007 and settled initially on ISI's rFactor as our platform. We started off with just a Sprint Cup Series but soon added a Road Course Series and several special event races. With the release of ARCA Sim Racing we have decided to move our top level series to this new and exciting sim software. Our Sprint Cup Series will now become our Stock Car Series and be used as an entry level series for stock car racers. Look for the series' names in the menu above, or their logos below, to take you to their respective sites. There you will find race schedules, points standings and other information about their current seasons.
OSGR: ARCA is our NEW racing series using ARCA Sim Racing as our platform. This is our premier series and is a highly competitive open setup league that features some elite drivers. We are excited about the potential of this new racing sim and look forward to growing this series along with the development of the ARCA Sim Racing software. Look for our ARCA server ticker above as well as links to server stats and league information.
OSGR: RCS is our rFactor Road Course Series. This series was previously know as the Open Wheel Series (OW1) and recently completed Season 2. Season 1 was a fixed setup series while Season 2 opened up the racing to custom setups. This series focuses on Road Courses and historic tracks all over the world. We changed the name because wanted to include other models of cars, including but not limited to open wheel cars.The quality of drivers and willingness to share setups make this a fast competitive series for anyone that enjoys road course racing. Be sure to check out the Sim Racing Forums for information on our current season, Season 3, where we are racing the Radical Sports Cars and fixed setups at some awesome tracks.
OSGR: SCS is our Stock Car Series. This will soon become our entry level series and will be geared to allow drivers to get used to stock car racing here at OSGR before jumping into our top level series. This series is now using the rFactor Stock Car Evolution (SCE) v0.99 mod and may include the SCE Truck Mod when it is available. More information on this series will be posted in the Sim Racing Forums.
